CRosSWilD

Is an organization that (C)lint, (Ros)had, (S)tuart, (Wil)l, and (D)rew started. Get it? It's basically just really great, and so far has had great success. Anyway, they have various retreats from...life and...stress, and they are really great. The Spring retreat was a little over a week ago, and it was very legit. The theme was reflection, and so many people took advantage of it in a great way.

We all reflected on what we see ourselves projecting to others, vs. what we feel on the inside. In the end we learned that we need to let our "light" (Jesus) shine bright, and that we need to reflect Him to everyone. It was really awesome.

Though I knew that before, it was just a great refreshment to see it soooo prominently, and to hear it so much in a short amount of time. You know? It's like when you listen to a song on repeat. By the end of the 5th time you know all the words, and you can tell anyone whther it's in 3/4 time or 4/4 time, and you know whether those are real or fake trumpets, and the vocalist says "crars" instead of "cars" but it's all good because it's your favorite band ever. Anyway, I was just writing this to get anyone, anywhere to reflect on who they are. Take a minute and look into your life. Are you letting others see you? Or is it who you want them to see?

This is a very real issue, and it is one big enough to eat away at you if you let it go on for any amount of time. This "self-reflecting" is something that is key to 1. letting yor light shine to its greatest ability, and 2. being comfortable in your own skin. It's ok to project who you really are. It's completely ok to share the Gospel with people. It's also ok to be querky and nerdy instead of knowing all there is to know about music. If you can't play a note on beat, then don't worry about it. It you know all there is to know about car engines and lotus flowers, then share it with the world. Just be yourself, because you are beautiful.

Everyone has beauty. Everyone has pain. There is nothing wrong with revealing yours to everyone.

I know that this is super cheesy and probably common knowledge, but I mean...I just had to say something. It's been a year. Literally. :) mmmk, bye.

Verity

is the girl that I will watch today instead of mindlessly watching flapjack. It's going to be a joyful experience.

Also I was wondering about psychology. You know how each part of the brain performs a different function? Does that mean that we won't have those functions once we get into heaven? I guess we won't need them, because we'll be worshiping fir all of eternity...but I was just thinking about that.

Today was a day of absence, state competitions, and heat.

Today

was a day for discovery, happiness, and thunderstorms.

I was walking home from school today, and I logged on to Facebook. He was loading all of his distaste for the Jonas Brothers on a photo of me at one of thier concerts. I'm not reaally sure why he had to attack them and me so violently, but he did.

I then proceeded to tell him that the picture was from over a year ago, and that I don't really ever listen to them anymore. It was kinda crazy how then he decided to tell me that I was an untrue fan, and that I needed to make up my mind.

What?

anyway, so then he was talking about how people don't stand up for what they believe and that he was proudly standing up for his hate of the JB. "one day" he then said "everyone will see them without the masks and hate them!"

Is it really that big of a deal? Does it really matter that they are role models for little girls 3-13? I don't think so.

He was talking about how he was so excited for national JB hate day. I said "What do you expect to come out of it?"

Then he said that he was really excited about making the girls cry.

what a jerk, right? I know.

Love, Christina.
